At Taste of Spanish, we believe that language learning is most effective when it's engaging and culturally immersive. Our innovative approach combines Spanish language instruction with the rich traditions of Spanish cuisine and culture, offering a unique and enjoyable learning experience.

Located in Carlisle we offer high-quality in-person group lessons for a wide range of abilities. Our weekly two-hour sessions provide individualised support in a fun, collaborative and supportive learning environment and you can also access these online for revision and catch-up purposes. You also get access to your tutor between lessons and we invite you to a monthly Spanish café to further practise your speaking skills and improve your speaking confidence.

Our Online Academy allows you to participate in a range of live Spanish lessons per week that explore grammar, speaking, and well-loved Spanish recipes as well as the culture. Each month, we introduce a new bilingual recipe and host interactive cook-along sessions, allowing you to practice language skills while delving into Spanish culinary arts and for ongoing support you have access to our private community of Spanish learning foodies.

Your Teacher, Helen Rivers, is a fully qualified and experienced Spanish teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. Helen holds a degree in Spanish and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, ensuring that your course is designed to achieve the best outcomes for you.
